Israel 2018
Israel was a very interesting country for me. I visited it together with a friend. We mostly traveled through the country by hitchhiking. We started our journey in the south, in the city of Eilat. Although we visited Israel in winter, we were able to enjoy sunny weather and even go swimming. The water was a bit cold, but we enjoyed it a lot nonetheless.
The Dead Sea
From Eilat we traveled north until we reached the Dead Sea. There we tried bathing and smeared ourselves with mud, hoping it would be beneficial for our health.
Jerusalem
Then we continued to Jerusalem. The atmosphere there was something completely new for us. Three different religions meet here, and it was very impressive to see that with our own eyes. We visited many famous sights as well as some places in the surrounding area, for example Bethlehem, where Christ was born.
At the end of our trip we went to Tel Aviv and then returned to Central Europe. Overall we were very happy with our journey, as we were able to discover new cultures, try many different dishes, and meet many kind people.
